Guess who's back!?
Hello boys and girls (and others)!
First a big hi to everyone who knows me on this forum, I used to be very active. I took a year out and to be honest, I've been playing WoW. Don't know if there are any other WoW players, but I had become heavily involved in raiding and for a while there it took over my life. I was raid coordinator for a big guild and vice GM, so I had lots of responsibilities, and we did well, but the time has come to call it a day on the raiding I think.
So I'm stepping down from my raiding career now and want to get back into my lifelong hobby for the summer, so here I am! RCU has kindly retained my status for now, and I assume I will be able to carry on moderating, but if not, that's ok too, I'm just glad to be back!
To those of you thinking 'who the hell is this!?', I am an RC hobbyist 24 years, used to race 1/10th on road and a little 1/8th off road, then got into large scale a few years ago and never looked back. Before taking a year out I was a moderator here for over 2 years.
I plan to be restoring my surviving gassers this summer and probably do some 1/8th truggy racing too. I still have a 5T prospec with a Ninja .28 in it which I plan to run.
Hope everyone is well and missed me See you around and on the dirt [>:] Here are some reminders of my babies...

Welcome back Foxy. Good thing you got off of WoW, I had a nasty habit awhile back from it.
Since you were gone I picked up my own FG MT. I remember years ago asking you questions about it.

Nice work! Missed my FG the most. Watching that vid again (check edit in post above) makes me wanna go down to the garage and start the restoration right now. Have no idea what it will need. I'ts been sitting 13 months untouched, maybe longer, along with all my other models. With a bit of luck a few battery cycles on the charger and I might be good to go.

I like it a lot. The gearing is still messed up with it because it originally had street tires on it, so I put some lowering gearing on it but its still not stock (will take care of it easter weekend). So in turn its under powered and I got one that came with a CY23 so it isnt a very powerful motor either (will be changed this summer).
I paid 350 for the thing, so I guess you get what you pay for.
