Default Good engine for baja 5b 2.0

I'm looking for a better engine for my baja 5b I want it to be under $350. I also Don't want to have to make any mods to it to use the engine. I currently have the fuelie 23cc.

Thanks.

I just bought a 4 bolt CY 27.2 from largescalerc.com for around $208 with promo code. It runs very strong and you will have money left over for a nice pipe.

I am going to get the Zenoah 4 bolt 29cc once funds allow it for my FG. Looks like a great motor.

do you like the 23cc.  It has about 2.5HP.  If you want to increase it to 4 HP get a decent tuned pipe.  They cost about $150  - $200 dollars.

The 2nd option is to get a big bore kits for you stock engine.  You keep the base of the engine and change the top.  They are about $75 - $150 and will get you to 3.5HP easily.  Spend the remainder on a tuned pipe and you are hitting 4.5 - 5HP.  Plus you are under budget.

$400 can get you a long block by one of the engine tunners (ESP, OBR, Dogpile).  will have to remove your carb, housing, clutch, etc. over to the new engine.  You might get 3.5  - 4.5HP with one of those engines.   You will still need a good pipe to really get the engine going.  past 5HP.

Another option is to get a stock 4 bolt like the Zen G290 or CY F270.  They are about $220.  Then send the $150 - $200 to get a decent pipe.  Both of these a 4 bolt so when you have more $$$ you can get the big bore kits ($100 - $200 to get them on the same level as the mod engines ^^^.

hope that helps
