RE: Redcat Releases X Series Short Course Truck Today!!
Seriously considering this as a future purchase in the near future. It seems the Nutech SC5 that I've been holding out for will never get here.[:@] I've read though that Redcats require some upgrading to run right. Should I keep waiting or get the Redcat SC. If I get the RedCat, What are the most common upgrades that are needed?

The only safety upgrades are a Throttole servo. Then, maybe a steering servo and a new radio?? SOme guys wait untilt eh steering servo goes out, others have them for 6 months now with no problems.

Is there a redcat rampage thread? I searched and came back with no specific thread for them. I'm interested in the xt and the xb.

Don't know if this was covered, but will it have a different gear ratio than Redcat's other trucks, which are extremely slow compared to the Baja's?

Same gear ratios, which seems to work for most Rampage owners as bashers or racers. You can get more speed very easily by changing the gears around. As always, its not a Baja.
