There must be something in place for largescale as a whole because the worlds have been held in the US. All you can do is join and get them to make a section, if they get enough people asking they should look at it for you.

I heard rumours here the on-road 1/5th worlds in 2 years is held in the US.
When true use the spark to spread racing.
And yes we have a club house and yes it is open all weekend and yes about 50% of the members turn up when it is pouring rain and the track is impossible to use.
It is a social thing
Good to see you you back Mike doing off-road again, lookin' forward already to next years euros at Nene

It's going to be a great meeting. I met Rene K, who I've not seen for years and some of the other Dutch guys there at the GP. The track has been totally re-designed since then though to make it more attractive to 1/8th scale and to boost the members, take a look at the web site and I think you'll agree it looks great - we just need a club house lol

Perhaps you could nail this issue once and for all and take the lead by writing a 'standard' that covers large scale RC vehicle venues......people love to help with these things, especially graduate lawyers who want their name on a paper lol

If it's an issue with guys in the US wanting to build "large scale" tracks why not make it "multi scale"? That way, ROAR can get involved and you will have all the insurance you'll need. In the UK we have the BRCA, in Holland you have NOMAC, in Germany it's DMC, they all have sections for most scales and help out with new clubs. EFRA, ROAR and IFMAR should be there to promote the hobby so all you can you is ask.

Exactly, turn towards the ROAR and see if they can be of any help.
Can be by times a bit bureacratical but you profit from it in the end and it will bring the hobby to a new level.
off topic: Mike, I think Coveys party tent will be fine to use as clubhouse lol and I understood the hole track and layout will be done new for the next years euros.
Anyway see you there m8
