Default Fg monster side rail guards?

I have made some guards to fit onto my fg style hobby king truck,

The alloy side guards are very open, so I bought a sheet of clear 1mm lexan,

Cut them to fit on the inside of the side guard, but I am out of ideas as to how to fix them in place,

I know somebody has already done this mod on some forum,

but I cannot find any pics on the Internet at the moment,

Any ideas on how to fix the lexan onto the side rails?

What he said^^, or maybe some good double sided tape would do the trick.

Ive seen the lexan cut exactly to match the dimensions of the side plates. Then the holes are drilled to match the side plates so they match up exactly.

Or just use double sided tape.

Thanks guys,

i cut the lexan a couple mm smaller than the side rail,

and used the side rail mounting points to hold it secure,
there were some floppy areas so i used a body reamer to make small holes along the side rail to secure these bits with small cable ties,

looks real tidy now.
