Default Custom body for custom 1/4 scale rc car.

I am just wondering if anyone has any method i can use to upscale a 1/18 diecast model to a 1/4 scale?what is the best way to accomplish this and using what tools or method. Also where do most of you get your aluminum parts made or milled??Also has anyone tried using kevlar or carbon fiber as structure for a chassis??

EURO
for a body for my buggy, I measured the OD of the tires
compared that to the size of my scale model.
The larger being 5.2 times bigger.
Took the dimensions i need of the scale model times 5.2
and made a side & top view drawing to work with.
There may be computer programs for this, my way is slow.

2 good sites to help you out...
www.quarterscalelegends.com
www.rcburnout.com

Check under projects in progress and tips and tricks section on both, you should find something to help you out.
Good luck
