Getting a new engine for a baja 5sc on 250 budget.
Buying new engine have $250 should I go with a cy29rc (chung yang) or the zenoah g240rc. I know the chung yang has more power but it's a matter of quality.

CY and Zenoah are both great motors, but from my expierance you are better off with a Zenoah 26cc they are very good quality and faster than the g24, the g24 and 27 are the exact same and the g23 and g26 are the same the only difference is that the 26 and 27 have a bigger bore head. The g24 and g27 have 4 bots holding the cylinder head and the g23 and g26 have two bolts. The 24/27 has more stability due to the 4 bolts but less power, as for the 23/26 are still stable but have more power, I would recommend a Zenoah G26 its the right choice for your model.

I love my cy gp290 ...you can't beat it for the price ... I think I paid $220 shipped from ddm with the clutch .
