going to be nasty when e is too busy wheeling and doesnt come down soon enough to steer and ends up slamming into something...I might have experience with that and my savage flux..lol

Not talking about flips, when he hits something head on, he clips a wheel on something and rips it off.

Im impressed as to how much top end it has and still manages to do wheelies. You usually dont get a combination of both, specially in a large scale.

I have a big block in this. 30,5 4bolt esp ported zen.. Not insanely fast but she sure is heavy..
But the doors can open so thats okay the body is made of fibre glass, by nutechracing.nl. The red stripes is just taped on there to get an idea for paint.. But things take time.. There is also a steel rollcage in there. Made by me. There are plans for either a spoiler/wing sortathing on the rear end there. Or just a lid..
(edit) its a Nutech Thunderbolt 2 pro race.. For those who want to know

Heres pic

Thank you

The doors are kept shut with a rubberband i made from a old bike hose..
Its tied on the rigth door and it has a little hook for the left door.

That way i can easily open them when i need to just pull the starter or push stop..
when i need to refuel or need the doors open i just un hook the left door..

If the rubberband breaks i just make a new one for nothing

brice had the 2 speed out years ago, its about time someone came out with a three. have a nice short 1st to ease clutch wear and not lose top end.

Where the heck is Brice SavageCommander??? This auto tranny is different it is not a pawl design but clutch design like the 1/8 scale onroad cars.

Clutch design? Hmm. Where'd you hear that? I'd be interested to hear what kind of material they're using.

that 3 speed isnt a genuine hpi made 3 speed its made by the chinese cloners , i think only obr has made a 3 speed , so they proberly copied it off them .

no no there are cloners making a paw style 3 speed, but there is a pad style clutch three speed in the works. and im unaware of OBR having anything to do with drivetrain-especially with thier NOS kit coming out.

Savage Commander is correct . The 2 speed that OBR and BSW are pawl design . Not only is this a 3 speed it is a clutch design tranny according to largescale rc, and it is not a clone.

whoever it is making it , it sure sounds good , the 3 gear coming in sounded pretty long to get there though , thers something about those 2 speeds and 3 speeds that i dont like looks like a bunch of small fragile pins and cogs that looks like it will break taking out of the box , i still run the trusty single speed setup.
