The proof is in the running Nitrhead. If I beat can go faster than Maxit then i'll agree but I still think his car looks really nice. The gearing will stop the front wheels popping up.

Oh his car looks nice but the way a car looks does not make it fast!! And maybe the gearing he has on there is tall enough to keep it from popping wheelies but we won't know until he runs it. I just wished he had gave a litttle bit more info on the car.

No disrespect intended BUT You got 2 excellent project cars don't spread yourself too thin with too many projects going on at once. Best of luck.

I hear you. The IC open car is almost ready to go and the large scale streamliner is about 75% complete. Then I'll be testing so I will need something to do in the workshop. The Bloodpuppy will be a step up engineering wise from my last projects. Lots of CNC and special parts.

I saw Tims car on video at 167 and also saw Nics car in person at 150+, and I just cant imagine what a 400mph car would look like. All I know is that I dont want to be there. I'll watch that on vid as well.

Hey twissted, could you give me some info on your buggy there? Looks like a Rampage XB-E, and also a Kershaw Designs speed control? I am not familiar with the chassis top plate (pink), and the motor mount - they do not look like Kershaw Designs 1/5 motor conversion for the XB-E. Are those items things that you fabricated yourself, and if not, could you tell me what brand they are?
Thanks in advance....

no every thing that you have asked about is custom made by me. I think my design is stronger and lighter in all it's bomb proof. And stupid fast. think of it this way I'm turning a 13 tooth pinion at 35000 rpms. I eat tires and anything I race.

I dont think the double sided tape is going to be strong enough to hold the jet on, what do you think?

Not yet NH. I've been looking into local drag and air strips o see what can be done. Maybe get it closer to home. Either way, I think I'm ready.

I had the streamliner running
The engine was so loud I didnt manage to engage the clutch. I thought I would wait and see if anything fell off first..LOL

RE: Insane 1/5 scales with Big Blocks in them!!
I hooked up the Lehner motor and MGM ESC to the gearbox to test it out so I dont have the engine banging away in my ear. Here is the video

The change mechanism is a bit stiff so I might need that large servo instead of the small one. I'll try using the servo on another test. The system seems to work
