Default Tuning tips

Hey guys Im use to tuning nitro's but when I get some time I'm gonna tune up my losi 5ive.
It's had about 3 tanks now and I noticed it was slower and dident have the low end acceleration it use to. And in the top rev range it sounded a bit off...

So to tune these things there are 3 adjustments, idle, low end and top end....Right.

Do I set my top end first for speed, then do the low end adjustment?
Do I need to set and back it off, or just set for speed... Do u guys use telemetry for tuning?

One other thing do these motors get proper lubrication on idle? should I blip the throttle every now and then if it's idling for extended periods?

here you go... [link]http://youtu.be/6tMUfbQCzI8[/link] dead easy and once you're done you leave it... unlike nitro where if the sun goes behind a cloud it's out with the screwdriver.

yep, they get proper lube at idle

Ah cool, thanks guys.

One other thing here we have 91 94 and 98 octane fuel here in Australia.
What should I be running?

I know with my real car if I don't advance the timing with 98 octane it pings... What about these things?

These things don't pings I have used both 98 and 95, and i can't tell if there was any difference at all. 95 is the most common fuel here now, so i will use this from now on.

Found this
( RON Octane Rating x 0.95 = AKI Octane Rating )
98 RON Octane x 0.95 = 93.1 AKI Octane (US measure)
100 RON Octane x 0.95 = 95 AKI Octane (US measure)

I'm on the RON system
