Default Introducing the FlowRam36cc Motor for Losi and Redcat

Alright folks, after many months of trials and improvements, I am proud to announce a new Engine 36CC. RAMTech-RC and Flowsystem Racing have begun a new collaboration to bring you a high torque drop-in motor for your Losi 5ive-T or Redcat Monster Truck.

We have worked with a Chinese factory to import the castings and parts to our specifications. Once the parts are in house, Eric at Flowsystem Racing uses his extensive knowledge to assemble and prep these engines for long life and reliability.

The Race Edition Model (RE) is for those people who want more torque for their 4x4s, with easy starting and long life. The 38mm Diameter piston and 32mm stroke are used to get low end and mid-range torque to the ground.

Cost is $359.99 with the included 6K clutch and 668 Carb. We also provide options for those that want more tire ripping power.

Looks like a torque master with weak top end.

Thats what it is gear for in this video. Our track at Fear Farm has smaller starights, so no need for top speed, just torque out of the corners.

Cool. Do these cars suffer from the shaft "whip"? I was thinking of a pillow block, with a bearing mounted here (X)

good idea or not?

Just thinkin' out loud, can't help it.........

Some of the other large scale trucks have htem there. It is a concern on some of the Losis I have seen at the track.

2 bolt or 4 bolt?

why would you need to gear it down? i thought the idea of having a torque motor was so you could pull the taller gears and still maintain good speed at the top.

i think maybe a better comparison/demonstration for all to see would be the losi with stock gears first with a 6k spring and then with an 8k... apples and apples if you will

2 bolt. It won;t be for people who haven;t learned how to tune or maintain thier engines.

The video shows stock Losi gearing for short tracks. At places like Irvine Lake they will be able to gear it up for the longer straights, while still having torque on the bottom end. I will take some more video with taller gears this weekend if its not rained out at Fear Farm.
