Default Lauterbacher Buggy?

Has anyone had any experience with the new L3 Super-cross buggy?
I'm looking to buy one, but would like any feedback that people may have.

Paul.

Hi Paul,

I did a search for the Lauterbacher, just to see what it looks like, but there was a problem with the server.

Do you have a picture of one?

I haven't worked out how to post photos yet.
The 2 sites with good detail are www.netshop.nl/shop/rc/nl/dept_288.html & www.lauterbacher.nl/
Well worth visiting if you like large offroad buggys.

Excellent. Did well. I'll work out how to do that 1 day.
I'll let you know what they are like. I ordered 1 this morning. Should take about 3 weeks to get here.

Hey, I hope you'll be uploading pics in no time!

Here's one of the shots I like. No plastic here, all aluminum CNC stuff.

I'm sure their F1 cars are beautiful....

Click the pic to really see the great detail aluminum work.

I saw all the pictures they have on their website. Awesome work! Very well engineered and fantastic looks. The priced tag is nice for the quality I can see in the pictures. I am really looking forward to lots more pictures!

Still no buggy, it's about another 3 weeks off.
I did find some great shots though on GM Racing - UK.
Here's another.
As soon as I get the buggy, I'll post some air shots.

Thanks for the info on GM racing, Paul. Here's a link for anyone interested: http://www.gmmodels.co.uk/acatalog/

I rooted around looking at photo galleries and found a link to an Irish 1/5th club site, where I grabbed this pic. Must be a Lauterbacher-

Hi Guys,

It takes about 10 days (priority) if we send these cars to the states. The price for a Lauterbacher L3 supercross on this moment is $1326.

We have a special offer on the FG Marder right now: ONLY $525 !!!![X(]

For more information check out our website: www.netshop.nl or www.krikke.net.

Hi Ron,

I interested in getting more info on the BAR Honda model in the above photo.

Who is the manufacturer? I'd like to check out their catalog, really see what's available.

Can you provide a link?

Thanks, Mel

Hiya,

The F1 car is made by FG from Germany they do look amazing going round a track although they can prove to be a little hard to set up and a little delicate too. Check out http://www.rc-car-online.de for the best prices on FG stuff I know of.

I Race a Harm BX1 in the UK Nationals and me buddy has just bought a Super cross. He raced it for the first time last weekend and it went really well. It maybe was a little heavy and 'slow off the line' but this is more than compensated by it's ruggedness. One minor niggle though the exaust is absolute pants, it don't let the car rev. but if your not racing i would'nt worry about it.

I finally got it.
The only problem I had was lack of research. The XS3 will not aux mix for the front discs.
Here's the photos ready to run.
As soon as I finish the body & wheels, I'll post some more shots.

Paul.

Nice table. LOL. What about using the "fuel mixture" function (Channel 3) as a brake mix? I have a JR XS3 but I don't really understand the dang thing yet I figured out the brake mix on my Futaba 3PK.

Table? That's the floor! OK, I do eat off it every now & then.
I tried the fuel mix, but it only indexes the servo.
I sat down with the manual for the 3PK last night. I don't think I have the right degree to opperate the thing.

Thanks.

Yes, the paint job was done with lots of masking tape & spray cans.
It's always hard to come up with something different.

Very good looking rig. I'm impressed! Those shocks are BIG. Let us know how the drive test goes.

I think your floor is cleaner than my table. It looks nicer anyway.

Regarding the T3PK, look up "brake mix"--page 42 & 57 of my manual. Don't get the "brake mix" confused with PRG-MIX1 or PGR-MIX2 (page 40). The "Servo Display" will show the exact transmitter output (page 39) and is a very handy option, especially if the wrong mix mode is used. For example, if one confuses the throttle with the front brake or the steering with the front brake.

BTW, I know someone who returned a 3PK after one only day because he couldn't figure out how to operate the radio. He uses an M8 now. I've already ordered an AM conversion module for the T3PK and am checking into the FM synthesized transmitter module. However, I have yet to confirm that there is a FM synthesized receiver module.

Ropas, do you ship to Canada? And, do you still have this deal on the Marder, or any other off-road? You can send me a personal email at [email protected]
Thanks!
