hi all, i am building a large scale rc truck that will be housing a 125cc quadbike engine, its going to be fairly heavy so i was wondering if anyone could help me out as to what sort of servo i will need? cheers in advance

Sounds like an interesting build to say the least!

Need one of those servos the Myth Busters use to control a full size car maybe. I tried a google search for one some time in the past and came up empty.

i also run a ps050 in my 1/4 scale jeep and it has some serious power and is plenty fast enough, the PS 105 is even bigger if you need a monster servo, [link]http://www.tonegawaseiko.co.jp/pro/e_pro02.html[/link] at 370kg they are slow but you can over come that by camming the linkage
a lot of guys are using modified windshield wiper motors for big servos too... search for mad Maori's giant servo thread here in giant scale, there are also some on you tube

What kind of truck are you planing for? scale?
