I'm new to gas RC cars, I'm getting the redcat chimera sr gasoline 1/5th scale , but I don't know to mix the gas, what oil and gas so I use, does it matter? Tell me what gas and 2t oil I use. Thanks in advance, and if there is YouTube video I can watch, up the link.

I just bought a motor from Gizmo and it is there modified There RCMK full mods run at or over 19000 RPM and they tell me to run 8oz of mix for each gal. That is 16:1 they say no failures in doing this. Also said to use Quick Silver that you get from Walmart.

Use whatever the engine manufacturer suggests. Once you are more familiar with these type of two-strokes, experiment with whatever works for you. IMO, you can't go wrong with 25:1 but when using synthetic oil, the ratio is different.
