Question 1/5 scale Redcat Rampage MT V3 question

Hello everyone, its been a while since ive been back on here, I have been upgrading my 2 1/10 scale brushless trucks and now was shown this massive 5th scale monster by my father in law. I've actually got him and my brother in laws involved with this RC trucks and buggies and we've been having a blast. I ended up not being able to sleep some nights because all i could think about was getting that big monster truck and tearing up some stuff with it. Ive watched a lot of youtube videos and read all the specs about this thing. Asked the wife if she was down with it and she was all for it! I knew she wouldnt turn it down since she had bought be the Twister XTG Pro for Christmas last year.

I have a question about the Rampage MT V3. I have been through the break in process and Im ready to do some changes on it. It still sits like new because I always make sure its well kept and put up clean. When I ordered the truck it was said to have a 30cc HY 2 stroke engine, Well when I unboxed it and looked at it, it was a 32cc HY 2 stroke. Not bad I thought!. Im waiting on my tuned pipe to arrive because it wasnt sent by mistake when I ordered the truck. I want to tune the carb up a little to get some more bang for the buck but not to trash it. Only problem Im facing is the lack of better instructions on what ratio turns I need to make on it in order to have it tuned up. No specs on the type of carburetor or how to adjust. Just shows where and what the screws do. How do I know what carb I have without pulling it off?

I also noticed that the truck is upgraded better then Ive read from a few years back posts. Metal gears to stronger Servos and what not. Not too bad..

Large scale carb tuning on you tube worked for me. I ordered a 3rd channel failsafe " Super Bee " for my MT and a Hitec throttle servo after the 4th throttle servo failed and almost hurt someone. But Red Cat has a wonderful Warranty service for up to 90 days that is why I am still using them. The Hitec HS-5645 throttle servo I have heard lasts well and the Hitec 5756MG steering servo is widely used by Redcat servo enthusiast's, But that last runaway I experienced was a bad deal. usually the servo quit at an idle and wasn't bat chit crazy. But the 3rd channel kill switch requires a 3 channel remote and receiver, I am searching for one. it is a must for the life of your 1/5th scale indeed. www.davesmotorsports.com for the said servos and super bee
