Monster buggy
That is AWSOME, I like it alot!!!! Great Job....
I am having a problem with my MB, when I run it the radio signal seems to quit often and close.. Talked with ammdrew last night on the phone for a bit and he suggested I get a NGK resistor cap for the plug, I went to 9 part stores today with no luck, I just ordered some from sparkplugs.com. Hope it fixes the problem...
I also got some decals today for it, I wont have the time to put any on for a few days but will post a pic after I do..

Try using PB Blaster. It's like WD-40 but a lot stronger. It will melt a styrofoam cup in under 2 minutes. Last time I used it I just sprayed it on the body let it set for about 3 minutes and the paint (Parma paint ) just wiped off. Afterwards I cleaned the body with windex, then washed it real good before re-painting. The only down side is cleaning the residue from the PB Blaster it's kinda oily, but the windex cuts right thru the oil.

Jared1106.....the resistor cap for the plug might help but you said it was doing it with the engine not running. If thats the case the resistor cap probably won't help.

My battery's were dead so I changed them and it didnt do that not running anymore. I went to 9 differant auto parts stores looking for that cap yesterday, I ordered 4 last night thru sparkplugs.com. On their way via UPS... So when you get your truck I have one if you need it. But honestly I think it is that radio same one I had the trouble with the boat!!!! Piece of CRAP!!!!! hehe

Jared1106.....I think you need to get rechargeable batteries for your receiver and radio and get rid of the alkaline batteries.

Does anyone else use alkalines in their radio and receiver?

I use rechargeable AA cells 2100mAh for my radio, and i will buy FG's reciever pack as well as their gold plated connectors for my "whatever it becomes" FG. These are found on the online FG catalogue from page 188 and forward.
All af you guys with these strong servo's use radio's with EPA (end point adjustment) right??

Jared1106...
I wasn't even looking to buy a car/truck or buggy. But I saw the picture of yours standing tall next to the Barbie 4 x 4. Two seconds later I found myself war dialing all of the distributors on Molzer Mowrey's website. Fortunately I landed one before I even got out of the A's.

I should have it next week.

Great Pictures everybody !

This is all your fault.

My obsessive compulsive disorder has taken over again.

Thanks !

wuudog.....I think you really need to blame me too. I was the one that showed Jared the FG Monster truck and got him to sell his 2 T-maxxes to get it. Of course it wasn't too hard to convince him.

I saw his mb, it is a very nice machine, very well built. I can't wait for the trucks to be released.

How much did you end up paying for your Monster Beetle? I had thought about getting one instead of waiting for the truck.

All of you are to blame !

I must say that I'm usually the avid internet shopper. I lost total control on this one when I saw the pics here.

I'm looking at $1050 before electronics. In my hands on Tuesday.. No waiting.

Considering Traxxas Revos are selling for more than $600 - $700 I figured it sounded good to me.

WOW.....Jared paid $860.00 shipped from the Netherlands to Maine. He had his mb before the US distributor had them.

Jared1106...

If you don't mind me asking, what was the hobby store in the Netherlands that you ordered your MB from, and do you know if they have a website? I've had my MT on order for almost 3 months and I'm thinking of ordering a MB to curb my withdrawl symptoms (I sold my hopped-up Savage just prior to reserving my MT)!!!

Thanks for the info...

Be sure to post some action shots of your MB soon!
