OH MY GOSH IS IT HUGE OR WHAT
Just got a FG off-road beetle last Friday and it is huge. I thought the box was a little over-sized but it was filled with "car". I won't be able to get it running for probably a week or so until my Airtronic radio system gets fixed. I previously had an 1/8 buggy and then a 1/10 T-Maxx. I don't know why I didn't do this right away. I would of saved money fixing the buggy and then hopping up the T-Maxx for racing. Running Hitec 5745 steering servo that just throws the steering tires from side to side. Initially just using a Hitec 625 throttle/brake servo until I figure out what I all need for front disc brakes. My hobby shop will probably become a FG dealer in the very near future as they were floored at the size of this car. If you have questions in your mind on whether or not to get a large scale machine, believe me, you will not look back after you receive it.

When i went to collect mine from Woddys Modelsport in Bedford UK, and i saw the box that the Marder Race came in...i could not beleive it...the size of it. the car filled the box totally.
I have come up from 1/10 nitro and battery and i don't think that i will look back from buying this FG. It's just so awesome.

Daz......
You got yours there too then!?
That's where mine is from, I erm..... drove down and collected it, there was a bit of an "issue" between Jason and I with the Postage, like, he didn't post it the day he said he would! I didn't know him from Adam, and thought, I've just given some bloke in Bedford who I don't know £700 (got a few bits too), so being the calm reasonable bloke I am, I got in my car and drove the 180 miles (in 2 hours 10 minutes!!) collected it and drove home again!
It just about went in my Saab Viggen Coupe, only just though!
Since then have sorted things with J, all a misunderstanding, he thought I was a mug!? [>:]

A long journey. I came up in my dads Scooby (for all you non scooby people, a scooby is a Subaru Impreza) 03 WRX, and it just fitted on the back seat, would'nt go in the boot
Woodys is ook, but he is a little expensive, i supose you play for what you get.

RE: OH MY GOSH IS IT HUGE OR WHAT
Mine fits in my Audi just fine (without the box)
With the box however I could only just get it in the door and onto the front seat. Getting it back out was another matter

RE: OH MY GOSH IS IT HUGE OR WHAT
might aswell join in
mine fits in the boot of the bmw coupe but not in the box
interesting tip
don't start the car while its still in the boot
i did and must have nudged the throttle (used for boats too so no spring) stick
the car started and left 2 nice black marks on the grey carpet where it sat spinning
opps
i'll bend over to start it in future
