What do poeple use their FG Marder/MB/MT for?
After watching the vids from RCpics.net http://www.rcpics.net/media.php?sear...earch&limit=10
of Marders and Monster Beetles, mostly seem to be using them for fun, mucking around type of thing rather than race them, so just wondering what people intentions are with these...Marder, Monster Beetle (MB) and Montser Truck (MT).
Racing = club ciruit / track racing
Fun = mucking around with others (like in the vids in the link)
Both = Racing and Fun

sods law dictates that
if many modelers come together for a group thrash
from a wide area
the local model shop will be closed
and everyone will be on the same frequency

How 'bout a neither option? then again, I don't have one of those cars, so I probably don't get to vote anyway.
For me, the fun is designing and building... once I have it tuned to perfection, I drive it for about 5 minutes, get bored, either stick it in the garage or give it to my brother, then start on designing a new project.
ibstar: and don't forget... no one will have brought gas.

hmm, people have frequently mistaken my tail for a squirrel tail... no trying to run me down. :P
(I'm a wolf, dammit! but it does look a bit like a squirrel or raccoon tail... mostly because the only fake fur I could afford was reasonably ambigious ($6/yard black frost). sigh... the life of a fur on a limited budget.)
Oh, and most americans should be familar with at least that much british terminology... or, at least, most of the ones I know are. Then again, people frequently mistake me for being british (as well as a squirrel), so maybe I'm not a good person to ask.

i would have bought a marder for racing but there are no clubs for miles, so ive brought a savage and revo instead so i can race offroad with them instead. Its the same with my FG super truck, I would race it if there was a 1/5th scale track near by, but there isnt so i have to have fun with it on a smaller scale track instead.( i live in south england, i wish i lived up north were there are 1/5th scale tracks)
