fg marder pipe and filter carb settings?
hi everyone,i`ve run my marder bog standard for a while and have just fitted an fg tuned pipe and a k&n fillter.I`m about to run this set up on standard carb settings and was wondering if this would lean the air/fuel mixture off to much (premature piston/cylinder wear/seizure)if so has anyone got any carb settings (turns out from fully in of high and low speed needles).any advice would be greatly appreciated

i's say you should be fine. the tuned pipe returns fuel into the cylinder
run it with the lid off.
make sure its smoking (mine is hardly noticable when warmed up)
check that its not running over hot

Yes the pipe and filter does make a noticeable difference,so much so that i managed to wright off the rear fin and role cage, oops,i think my enthusiasm out did my driving ability.on a serious note,i checked the plug after one tank of fuel then after five and the plug remained a nice tan colour which in my experiance of two stroke engines is just how it should look.
