if you have the little and the big tool you need to use the big tool and select the attachment that fits into the middle of the bearing and press it out. the bearing will push into the large opening of your tool. easy and quick.

shymot,
I'm in the middle of the same upgrade.
Luckily I was putting new bearings into mine, so i was able to just "punch" out the old ones. After installing the new ones, I see when i need to remove them for cleaning... I'll be in trouble!
I just press the new bearings into the alum hubs with a vise and 2 blocks of wood

Where can this bearing tool be bought?

Default RE: bearings

I changed my hubs today and it was extremely easy without any specialist tools.

I just carefully levered them out with a screwdriver. They are not seated tight enough to need a puller. Just put the screwdriver in the middle and carefully work them out a little at a time, makingsure to work all the way around the bearing.

May well be a different case when getting them out of alloy hubs but the plastic ones are no trouble at all.

Sorry to hear you buggered them up putting them in At least they are cheap and can be found in most skate shops or any bearing merchants.
