RE: worst thing driven through
I dont know if this counts but I drove into my wife's leg once and it was by far the worst that i have ever driven into. By the way it was at a very low speed so she was'nt hurt but you would'nt have thought so by her reaction.

RE: worst thing driven through
i think i'd go for my mates little girls leg at full tilt
i was watching the car and she stepped into its path so it would go though her legs
hit her shoe and took off
lucky it was a glancing blow
a dead rotting rabbit wern't nice for diffrent reasons

RE: worst thing driven through
Chasing my wife and gave a little to much gas on the T-Maxx. She was not happy, married people know why that is by far the worst thing that can happen.
Second worst was running my rusty thru water I thought was rain water but was actually run off from the sewage treatment plant. Took a lot of simple green and denatured alcohol to get rid of the smell.
Landing an avistar nose first a full throttle. It did not survive.

RE: worst thing driven through
Hmm, worst things...
Dog poo. Lots of it. With the wheels spinning.
Asphalt. No, seriously. When I took my last 1/4 scale electric on the road for the first time with the shiny metal spikes, it tore huge chunks right out of the road, sending them flying into everything (and everyone) near by... gouges in the road were about an inch deep. Haven't driven it on the road since.
A friend drove an electric into a (large) puddle, followed immediately by the motor controller melting itself into a small blob. Presumably it tried turning both the high and low sides of the H on at once...

The first was on the front lawn of a relative's house, with my younger brother driving a tamiya frog, upgraded with a fancy motor and an 8.4v pack. Wet grass, wheels spinning, ran right into some dog droppings (care of the neighbor's black lab)... made quite a mess, to say the least.
Second, with my large 1/4 scale car (pic at http://www.bushytails.net/r/dcp_0204.jpg if you missed it), on the asphalt in front of the house that picture was taken at. The spikes on the wheels (sharpened screws) are attached to a very stiff metal band, which is in turn attached to the hard tires. There is _no_ movement in the spikes; they are ridgidly attached to the drivetrain, and remain vertical (with respect to the tire) with any amount of force on them. The motors draw >50 amps each at 14.4v, and each wheel has its own motor. The car is geared for torque, and only has a top speed of around 15mph. The car has more than enough torque to flip on demand; simply blipping the sticks in the opposite direction will make the car flip and run on the other side. If you're quick enough, you can balance it in the air, have it spin on-end, and other fun things. I drove it onto the asphalt, which was fine, and then stopped. It skidded a little and kicked up some small chunks forwards, but wasn't much of a problem. I then went to drive forwards again, which sent a couple of small chunks flying backwards, again not much of a problem. I then made it flip. Between suddenly reversing the wheels (applying huge amounts of torque to the front wheels' spikes), the car being lifted into the air on the spikes, the 50lbs of car weight landing on the other set of spikes driving them into the asphalt, and those spikes being spinning at the no-load drive speed when they were driven in... tore up some quite impressive chunks, mostly from the front (formerly rear; remember it just flipped) spikes as they were driven in at full rpm. Bent 1 or 2 spikes, too.
Third was a cheap car with a cheap motor controller, using a mosfet h-bridge. From disecting the remains, the circuit board was covered in mud and water, and two of the fets (the high and low sides of one output) were completely melted and the board around them burnt. Apparently the water conducted enough on the right parts to turn both the high and low sides on, shorting the battery directly though the pair of fets.

RE: worst thing driven through
My dog is in a permanent state of way with my r/c cars. So far no accidents but a number of times I was also very close to hitting it.
My worst experience was getting my Savage on top of a steel rod holding the tape showing the borders of the race track on the 5th run of great 'showin off' jumps. Suprisingly no damage was done (to the truck).

Time to shut the tunnel? What is it you have against France?
Anyway back to the worst: ended up in a concrete wall, frontal crash at full speed (lost radio control).
Now I prefer the dog poo, even the realy fresh one [:'(]

RE: worst thing driven through
i let my friend try my TC3, bad mistake that i will never do again, gunned it in reverse under a moving car and slammed it into the curb thankfully it went fast enough to miss the car but the hit to the curb snapped my rear a-arm like a twig[:'(]
