RE: photos, lets see some of yours
Ah yes, Meridian! I cruised it a little last year but i don't like how the local cops handle the whole thing. Every year it gets to be a bigger pain to have fun. The nat's in Springfield Mo. is some awesome cruising and the cops are great and very cooperative. It's the locals that usually get out of hand and even then the cops take it with a grain of salt and figure they only have to put up with it 3 days a year.
65 Shelby ha....so when were done playing with our 1/6 cars we can go cruise in our 1:1 and have some more fun.
Jim....
P.S. PM me and i will give you my e-mail address and we can exchange info.

Sounds great...I always look forward to the Street Rod Nats coming to town. I took my '65 Shelby Cobra and cruised down Meridian last year. However, I think the biggest fun of the weekend is getting down to Meridian early in the evening, finding a good spot to set up your lawn chairs, and watching all the nice street rods go by.

RE: photos, lets see some of yours
Here's some pictures of my Off Road Beetle with a set of FG 1/6 scale truck racing slicks on it. The car handles quite well with these tires on it and i can now go from off-road to on-road in about 15 minutes and don't have to worry about wearing my knobby tires out if i just want to play in front of the house. I lower the car as well when i mount the slicks on it. These slicks are just slightly smaller than the stock tires so the gear ration does'nt change much.

Where did you find that picture? I've cruised their sight and have yet to come up with that picture. I've been wanting to do a Beetle body using House Of Color candies.
