Default RE: lay shaft gear

First remove the gear from the shaft and then remove the grub screw from the gear.Completely degrease the shaft, grub screw and gear(if youve got no degreaser use some of the wifes nail polish remover but be careful not to spill on any plastic/painted surfaces).Reassemble applying Loctite 406 high strength retainer to the grub screw/internal thread of the gear wheel and also apply a little to the shaft.Allow 12 hours to cure.Make sure the grade of loctite is 406 and i can guarantee this will not come loose again.Only downfall is you`l have to heat the grub screw with a small gas torch to remove it in the the future.
