If you ran it right out it possible you sucked some debris into the carb might be worth striping and cleaning just in case. I've had similar probs in the past, stripped carb down couldn't see anything obvious but it fixed it.

Sounds like foreign debris in the carb.
Give it a good clean out and blow it out with compressed air
It took me 4 attempts to do mine the other week

Is it a new engine, one of the ct's?
I have heard a rumour quality control is a bit slack. Hence a few people on here sufering the same problem.

You could have also burnt your plug out

May not be giving a strong enough spark to ignite the fuel.

To what extent are you taking the Carb apart to clean. Are you just taking it off the engine and blowing a bunch of compressed air through it or are you digging deeper?

My MT with the CY Fired and ran for about a minute and now nothing. Lots of fuel and spark. Almost seems like its flooding.
