RE: Does anyone have trouble with???
Yes mate!
Mine did that too when I first put it on.............. you just need to adjust the angle of dangle (technical term) on the pipe, have a look at where the rear spring mount is, you maybe need to drop it a little, loosen it all up and give it a bit of a wiggle, it'll sit at a few different heights.
I also tried using an extra pair of clips, there are 2 sets of holes for different heights on the wing posts, I put a clip in each of the lower holes and sat the wing on top of that then put the top clips in as noraml, was a bit more difficult but they went in the end, I find whenever I have any trouble with my Marder thing, I show it a pic of a Duratrash buggy, it soon starts behaving itself........................
Also, to be able to properly tighten the rear spring mount, I found the threads (or lack of them) in the plastic cross brace weren't up to having a 3mm machine screw tightened in them, so I put a low height nut on the back of the outer wing support, the screw goes through that, tightens, then goes into the cross brace, it does push the wing mounts about 3mm further apart but you just have push the wing down onto them.
I also was given some heat reflective metal repair tape which I put under the wing where the pipe sits up against it, no more melted wings for me!
And you thought there was a simple answer................

Yes, another easy one, change the gearing!!!
Or............ learn to drive it properly, the throttle stick/trigger is progressive you know, not an on/off switch! You'll get the hang of it eventually, just try being a bit more gentle with it.

fguk, my driving is bad but not that bad it is almost impossible to ride a long wheelie without the exhaust saying hello to the floor? i think i will have to purchase that alloy wheelie bar of hobbytek's online store can't remember how many euro's it was. hey fguk do u know stan from 'rapid garage' in scotland he is a very good supplier for 1/6 scale and 1/5 scale products and hopups, i ordered all metal tranny of him over xmas and i mentioned to him about the new hobbytek wheelie bar he said he could source one but it would be expensive then he mentioned he had a local lad machining something very similiar but alot cheaper. do u know him i think i will give him a call monday morning.
