Default Receiver battery for 3pk?

Hello everyone

I have just ordered a FG MARDER LIMITED from Krikke.net in holland with a MPX 65128 Rhino digital steering servo and a HS-5945MG for the throttle/brake.

Also a Futaba 3pk 3chpcm radio from *********.com.au here in OZ

My question is what size and voltage receiver battery should I install? I have a couple of 9.6volt 650mah NiMH batteries that came with a Helicopter that I managed to hover

for about 5 seconds before it tried to fly back to China are these ok or is the voltage too high?

also is the HS-5945MG servo strong enough for FG front cable brakes (FG-6250/2)

Any advice would be apreciated

P.S. what the hell does "LOL" mean?

I have the Monster Truck and run the HS-5625MG for the throttle/rear brake and run the HS-5645MG for the front cable brakes.
I use the HS-5745MG 1/4 scale for steering and use the Futaba 3PK.
You need to get a 5 cell SUB-C pack to run your radio gear....thats what I use....made it myself. They are Sanyo 3600MAH Hi-MH.
If you cant be stuffed making it, try www.cheapbatterypacks.com ....should cost about 40 bucks.
Go to CUSTOM PACKS and build one with 5 cells, GP3700 SC, Flat, 16 or 14 AWG wire, female deans (or whatever plug you use) and battery bars.
How much did you pay for the 3PK? ($350 oz dollars for me).....dont buy in OZ, its too expensive, I get everything from overseas.

Hi jimbo1890, this is the pack i use on all my large scale stuff :

http://www.onlybatterypacks.com/show...ItemID=10417.7

Select the type of connector you want on check out and also specify you would like a charge plug. These are at no extra charge. I have 14 of these packs of various sizes and they are top notch.

I personally use a Reedy Quasar Pro but there are cheaper chargers that will do the job adequiately. I charge my 3300 NiMAH packs at 3.3 amps with a delta peak of 5mv.

Jimbo, no I got my C-Cells from another place because I prefer to build my own packs.
Save ya money and get this charger: eBay item number: 5955376194
Another name for it is Ansmann: http://www.ansmann.de/en/index.htm?v...&pr2id=&appid=
Its cheap but it does a bloody good job... I have been using one for ages with no problems.
Dont buy in OZ until you compare prices to overseas!!!....we are a rip off in this country!
Tell me what you need to buy and ill get u a price
