Radio plate problems
Hi,can anyone tell me why my 5745MG is to small to fit the radio plate[]Theres missing about half an inch for the holes to match.Has this happened to anybody else.
Also the screws for the steering linkage arent there is all of this normal[&o]
Help would be apreciated

You should have a little adapter piece that screws to the front side of the tray for your steering servo. Missing hardware is a dealer issue. Everything should be included that you need.

do u know of anyone that machines custom cf radio plates?plmk i am aware fg makes one but i would prefer a custom one for more application

It's really quite easy to make your own radio plate from a sheet of 3mm alloy plate, I made these for my Leopard and race truck.

Well i managed to fit my servo with a home made bracket its very solide so there shouldn t be any problems.Also theres a special radio tray from FG,but i forgot the part #.I really like that alluminium plate looks very good and solide.

Well I've promised a guy from Moscow that I'd email him with all the dimentions etc when I get a chance so I'll so the same for you if you like. I't really is easy Aaron, all you need is a jigsaw, 2 G clamps, a file, drill & bits, M3 & M4 taps and a piece of 8mm alloy bar to make the legs. Let me know if I can help you out any more.

Thanks alot Mike i would apreciate the help i will go and buy a bar of 8mm alloy when i get the chance,cause today i m gonna crank over my MB s 26cc for the first time.......Can t wait !!!!!!!!!!!!
