SUMMER BASH - RCU UK
I have just been talking to Vo02doo about a Summer bash where us UK guys meet up one day in the summer for a get together and descend on a field, we were thinking of Birmingham to meet. not sure where tho. NEC?? It would be a kind of RCU UK meet.
If anyone as any better suggestions of where and when we can meet, then please say so. Weekends better than in the week. 11th of June on wards.
I live in the South East...in Hertfordshire and Vo0 lives in Wales.

I have decided to start looking properly for an MCD with a Rally car shell on..........
So, it's only a matter of time I think, not quite decided yet..............

You're obviously not paying attention...........
It gets dirty all the time, doesn't stay that way for long though! I ain't no dirty Gippo with a rammy car!!!
And that's after I cleaned it off a bit............
As for swapping it for a HPI Cabbage........... erm, no ta! Have been there and done that (to excess of course!)
What a hopeless Customer service department HPI have got, the bevel gears in the diffs were of really bad quality for a while and they wouldn't accept that it was a manufacturers problem, even though they were made in China by unskilled workers, and were so obviously cast badly.................

RE: SUMMER BASH - RCU UK
Hi Guys,
If your looking for a place to meet up and run your cars, then why not try and hire one of the off road tracks. Theres Stratford (airfield Raceway) or Nottingham (notts and derby).
Who ever is going to run the meeting, Let me know if you need the numbers and I will pass them on!
Steve

For what is in mind I would imagine the nationals would be far too formal, all those rules and regs great and definatly needed for the nationals, but for throwing your car around for a laugh not needed at all.

Hi Rich,i`m sure theres somewhere in the uk that will have a road and off road track not too far apart. I`d look forward to that as long as the marder with slicks brigade can join in on the on road fun?

RE: SUMMER BASH - RCU UK
ooop norf is a tad to far for me Im afraid.
I spend a mini fortune travelling the country for my shooting competitions so my budget really wont cope with another 6hr drive in a car that does 25mpg
I can cope with a trip to brum but not much further to be honest
Unless of course it coincides with a comp weekend and is on the way or really close
