Default Cleaning MT Big Foot

I got a bit carried away this afternoon and ran my truck like mad across a muddy football pitch. The mud on the body shell is easy to remove with a hose what do you use to clean all the nooks and crannies? Can you use nitro cleaner, water?

Appreciate your help

Water and compressed air does 98% of the job. Clean after with some paper and a tool if things a getting stuck.

Use MUCK OFF found in Halfrauds in the bike dept.
FGUK uses it and it seem to do the trick.

Why use a chemical when water and air can do the job? I guess "muck off" isnt free either.

I agree. I'm not to eager to use those chemicals - "Good for your hands" - hm...right - what about the plastic/metal then? Hehe. No, water and compressed air can do lots of tricks.

Ok so the use of fairy liquid was a little 'of base'. but Meguiars car shampoo does smell rather nice

As long as you get to the mud before it has a chance to dry, a good old hose pipe in the back garden works for me (after covering all radio gear and air filter with plastic sandwich bags mind)

Well I wouldn't be too keen to be spraying anything on the electronics.........

It either washes off with water, not gallons, just a mist or just wipe the cack off.

Aaron, How the hell have you broken that wing??
My marder has Rolled, Barrel Rolled cart wheeled etc.. and all it has done to the wing is a 50mm crack in the wing. and its still going strong. And to the car, there is only a little bend in the 'tringleulated (sp?) bit for the rear wing mount.

you must really bash your car about.

I should have added.........

I think I mght a little bit of Muc Off later when I clean the mess my Buggy........

It might take a little more than Muc Off though to fix the wing!?

Just a pic for all those of you who think it never gets used!

And literally seconds before this when I turned to the other Marder owner as we finished for the day and said those words....... "It's always the last quick go when you break something"

Seconds later my Buggy had dug a huge hole in the ground and smashed the wing!

We had a good day though!

Yes Dazz...........

It gets a hard life!! That was the result of a major cartwheel and barrel roll!

Can you see the huge hole it dug in the ground?!

Mr Dubby..........

Firstly your car looks like it is parked up waiting for some hot "DOGGING" action.........

Secondly..... How much did Stevie Wonder charge you to set your back end up? Camber? Toe In?? Mate........ what are you doing?? LOL!

I thought you knew about these things?!

Sorry mate, it might be the camera angle but it does look a bit excessive!

It is excessive mate.

But then its a tad bent under there

Looks alot better since the pics were taken but is still not right. At the time it was that bent that the driveshaft rubbed on the spur gear under acceleration[X(] Until finances improove a little then it will have to stay like it

But all said and done it handles extremely well like that.

The shell however has now seen better days. More gaffer tape than plastic now but got another couple of shells coming my way. Just need a new roll cage to mount them on now
