daz,

i like that as well, 2 modifications in one cool. i was gonna opt. for the new fg wheelie-bar but not quite sure when u.k shops will have that in stock so i think i will have to get intouch with kev nextweek and put myself down for that wheelie-bar/diff cover very nice.

i still like the wheelie-bar from hobbytek that looks killer and probably performs just as good but very expensive i can't justify paying too much for one

That wheelie bar from hobbytek i think is a wheel of of an inline rollerskate (RollerBlade), so ity probably ballraced. nice and smooth action thats what is a littyle more expensive.

Does it say 59.99 POUNDS?

59.99 £ is equal to 86,92 Euro.

The wheelie bar from FG costs 89.90 Euro - a 3.00 Euro difference.

I would any time choose the FG wheelie bar:
Wheelie bar with double ball raced wheel, cnc-machined from high strength alloy. The arm has a rubber suspension unit, the height is infinitely adjustable. The suspension allows for a maximum deflection of 30 degrees and is dirt- and mud-proof. The wheel bearings are sealed.

And it looks 5 times as good as well.

It seems much more professional. And btw: the diff protection seems wrong - the rocks will just be kept inside.

Yes it is. I didn't thought it was nescessary to post pics, but now its done and look how great and beautiful it is.

Veron
Its up yo you - I would. The one from Kev's looks cheap, but it certainly is not.
The wheelie bar from FG is not cheap, but that doesn't matter, when it looks so good and has so many advantage's. Its quality and you know what you are getting.
But it is an insane price for those wheelie bars. What happened to a piece of bent metal? It can do the same trick, not as good but the FG wont back flip - but that requires a garage etc. to make, so if you guys want a buy-and-run product the wheelie-bar is great.

i hear you man, now that dazza has posted those pics you can see why it is expensive, a very high level of workmanship + it is smoother and is adjustable which in my opinion is a good option, still the price is expensive but i will have to see bank bank balance at the end of the week then i will make my decision, thanks for all the help guys much appreciated.

Those wheelie bars are a great engineering feat. Nothing like a bit of overkill to keep your wheels in the air!!

There are some less expensive ones on e-bay now, that look more like my type of affordability. I'll have to try one of the sheet metal versions.

Hey guys, I was in real doubt about buying that wheelie bar from Hobbythek cause it's to damn expencive!!
I've ordered one from FG, it's cheaper and I don't need that kind of technology in just simple thing as wheeli bar.
Jes, what are they selling, gold plated wheeli bar with lifetime warranty!?![>:][>:]
My local FG dealer told me that wheelie bar price should be around 30-50 $ top, and deliverd in 2 weeks, so that onein Germany just get "fired".

P.S. Does any one know what FG oil # is putted as standard in MT's ? I wanna order new oil but don't know what viscosity (100, 500, 1000, 2000) ?!?!?

Thanks

I'm betting the FG wheelie bar will be at least $75 to $90. There is no way they will be less than $50.00

That is very funny because I looked at the price list from one of my LHS and not that many FG' parts was under $50.

RamTech,
My dealer told me for price, I didn't actually see the price![:-]
I don't even wanna pay for it if the price will be more than 50$, then I'll gonna make my own and better.
They live on replacement parts and tuning parts

Veron,
Yes it's FG new wheelie bar #6295, and I'm pretty sure about delivery time and price that my distributor told me. [8D] Just hope that he's right, cause I ain't gonna wait for whelie bar logner than a month, like some people here waited for their MT.
