Default Has anyone

My line of thinking

Fit pajero shell to my marder race
Get truck wheels

Then the dilema
Do I keep the gearing the same, change the gearing( if so what gears) or get a twin speed box.
If I get the twin speed box, off road gearing or on road version.
At the moment, the car has loads of bottom end due to the fg pipe being fitted.

I get bored easily hence all the constant changes going on

Thanks Lee

you have to be steady with the throttle till the tyres warm up, but then gees they go.

Im going to put it up against road cars, I need power or a reinforced shell to knock em out the way. Did allso consider adding ben hur type wheel spikes to add another edge.
Lets just say I dont like looseing
A pajero flying round a tarmac area does appeal

The pajero kit is designed for the marder part number 6212 and conversion kit 6212/1 pajero off road to pajero on road. Add both kits together, its about £300 of conversion.
I have a pajero shell and tub siting here and just found rims and tyres new for £35 a pair at one shop in the uk

lee g unfortunately 300 GBP turns into quite a few aussie dollars so I was wondering if any one has tried to fit one of the FG 1/5 scale bodies on a marder? if so how did it go

If they make the one diff that we can put diff lock silicone oil inside then it will help the gear much better. However, I can't find any diff gear box that we can do that and I hope they make one very soon.

I broke my body post, pull start, #6079, and 2 spark plugs after 5 tanks.

Now im scare to play with my MB becuz of all these problems.

I hope someone can come up with some ideas to fix this diff thing and make it more reliable

Jimbo, there are two road car kits to fit the Marder - Mini Cooper and an AC cobra. Come with body, tyres and mounts.

The FG 1/5 On road cars has a wheel base that is 6cm longer(535mm versus 475mm) than the Marder, that makes using a On-Road boddy more than just tricky.......

THe shop selling the cheap wheels and tyres only had two tyres in stock.
One less customer for them in future since there was no metion when ordering online.

So for what it costs for 4 wheels nad tyres I have see the off road pajer to onroad pajero kit
Part number 6212/1

But I cant find what is in the kit, ie wheels and tyres or a few small bits that are overpriced

Anyone got any ideas on who to call to find out?

Thanks Lee
