CY or Zenoah
Hi all
A mate of mine is currently waiting for stock to arrive of the Monster Beetle with the 26cc Zenoah. Delivery times in the UK are currently unknown. One reseller has this model but with the CY engine. So the question is, should he give into temptation and go for the CY engine or should he wait for the Zenoah's to be available ?? In the mean time I've just put the first two tanks of fuel through my Marder Race (with a Zenoah I must add).
Cheers

RE: CY or Zenoah
Go to hobytech and get one, save about £100 and get the zenoah
You dont pay import tax because they are in europe
I have used them myself without problems

RE: CY or Zenoah
Hi,
I`ve a Marder race with a CY.Still got plenty power and been very reliable after a litre of oil (4% mix).I reckon they are just as good if not better than a Zenoah.I beleive they produce a bit more power as well due to slightly different port timing.I`d buy a CY without hessitation.

RE: CY or Zenoah
I would get it without either engine. You pay for the Zenoah name and Cy is the clone. The tolerances on the Cy cylinders are more open. I would get a SIKK motor . It's better than the CY and cheaper than the Zenoah and more HP for the buck.
