King Cobra **** tyres
New 1/6 Tyres from King Cobra
The first in the new range of 1/6 scale tyres from King Cobra Racing is the "Multi-Stud", and is available now priced £22.50, and £25.00 per pair for the "braided" versions.
The UK prices include vat, and foam fillers, giving very good value for money.
The new range of tyres feature our own Total Integrated Traction System (****), and the range of **** tyres available will be extended during this season.
The "Multi-Stud" is available initially in two compounds, Medium, and Hard. Continuing development and testing may include additional compounds being added to the range.
The "Muti-Stud" tyres have more nipples than any other 1/6 scale off-road tyre currently available, and so offer an alternative well worth adding to your tyre box.
We aim to develop and deliver any type of 1/6 scale off-road tyre that the racer's feel they need, and will listen to any good ideas shared with us.
We hope to keep these low prices for everyone on the entire range of **** tyres - no matter what type of tread pattern we develop - so surprise your local King Cobra dealer by ordering your first pair of **** now!
Remember - our tyre have more nipples!
I like the name,
john.

RE: King Cobra **** tyres
Email from king cobra reads as follows, sounds very very promising
Hi Col.
Thanks for your email and kind comments about our new Multi-Stud
version of the **** tyre range.
This is our first "own design" tyre, - we like the look of the finished
tyre, and it seems to work well too.
Our next mould we are working on is another 1/6 off-road type with a
wider stud pattern ( maybe 24 rows) for use in mud etc where the number of
studs on our first tyre ( 42 rows!) then cease to be a benefit, and becomes
a handicap.
This will give us a pair of tyres to cover most racing situations, we
will then add a "tractor tread" and a "rain treaded slick" tyre together
with two new wheel designs to complete our initial look at the 1/6 racing scene.
Next we will make our own Monster wheels and tyres, and we would not
want to copy any existing design, so the Multi-Stud concept is certainly one we
are seriously considering.
I am genuinely sorry I cannot offer a Monster tyre right now, but we
are moving at a very fast speed ( as far as designing and making new tyre
moulds is concerned), and can only work on one project at a time.
I hope we can offer an alternative Monster tyre in the near future.
Best regards - Bob.
