Default What servos do you use for your monster?

I was advised to go with the Hitec HS-5745MG for steering, I guess any server will do for the throttle, I was also looking at the Hitec HS-5955TG, this is servozilla.

Whats in your monster?

m going to use WHEN i fanially get my MB [>:][>:] Multiplex RHINO servo for the steering and for the throttle and the brake im going to use Multiplex power speed. Multiplex are the best make of servos money can buy...well i think so even if no one else does.

I would have to agree! My Hitec HS-5745MG/Digital just shat on me yesterday!

Good thing I had another in my parts box. When this second one goes I will be getting Multiplex servos.

the multiplex and hitec are now the same servo, we usually see failure from incorrect endpoint setup.

I agree with ammdrew digital servo failure is more often than not the fault of poor initial set up. I have a 5745 in my MT and have had absolutly no problems what so ever. For the money I would say this servo is damm good value.

Multiplex servos are good but I found that the torque is less than hitec hs 5745 @250 oz ,Rino 208 oz. Multiplex servos have good holding power just not enough power. I use the hitec hs 805 servos.

I use the Hitec HS-805BB

Torque: 343oz Speed: .14 sec Cost: $45.99

This thing jerks my Jumbo Kong tires back and forth quite easily.
