CUSTOM HEADLIGHT BUCKETS
Hey guys, take a look at some custom headlight buckets I made for my MT. The lights are from Maxxlights and the housing is handmade. Tail light buckets coming soon. Enjoy! [8D]

BTW, Don't mind the tape you see in the corners, they are only there until everything sets.
Here are some pics of the Rear Light Buckets I just finished.

RE: CUSTOM HEADLIGHT BUCKETS
Ok guys, lets keep in mind that those are not aluminum casings on those buckets. They are made of tough lexan. I did not make them with the intention to sell, but if the interest is there then I can consider it. The thing about these is that the leds are expensive by themselves. Those are 8 14mm Floods lights (freakin bright!). They are also encased in aluminum housings.
Anyway, if you guys are interested, we can talk. But please remember that I am not a small businessman and I don't have big expensive machines, all my work is handmade, but straight, clean and neat.
PM me if you are interested.

RE: CUSTOM HEADLIGHT BUCKETS
Quick question...
I bought Maxxlights for my MB and I love them! [sm=spinnyeyes.gif] However, I mounted them directly to the chassis where as you will certainly mount yours to the truck body. My question is, if they are the Maxxlights, and have to be plugged into your receiver (like mine are), will you plug them in and unplug them every time you attach or remove the body? [sm=confused.gif]
It was my original thought to add a lead from my receiver to the light plug for easy access, but it seemed like they lights would get damaged easier with all of the wear and tear on the shell. []

RE: CUSTOM HEADLIGHT BUCKETS
icecreamslick,
I have a secondary battery that I use for the lights. I use a 4 Cell (4.8V) 2100 NIMH battery mounted to the front shock tower of my MT. So I don't have to attach the lights to the receiver. Also, I designed my lights with a generous amount of wire so that when I need to take the body off, I simply lift the body up, disconnect one wire and the thing is off.
I put alot of thought into designing the light harness and making sure it is functional and accessible.
My complete setup is:
Front lights - 4 14mm White Floods, 4 5mm amber, and 2 5mm blue (foglights)
Rear Lights - 4 14mm Red Floods
There are some other lights I have here but I will not reveal those as yet.
When you see this setup, it will knock your socks completely off!!!!
