Default Firehammer from Tower now U$860?

When did Tower increased their price?

I guess the shop was telling the truth when the factory did increase its price by $25 but somehow Tower thought they can increase their price from $799 to $859 by a full $60 and make some more shortchange for themselves [&:] - not to mention that date of delivery just keeps moving forward

Hobby People is selling the XTM buggy for $699.99 and they seem to have all the replacement parts in stock. The XTM version comes without the servos, failsafe and transmitter but I prefer to buy those separate anyway.

Actually, Tower Hobbies lowered the price from $899.99 to $859.99 RTR.

Hobby People lowered from $799 to $699, still needs radio gear.

On a different note, are the XTM/Firehammer 1/5 shocks a direct replacment/fit for the FG Marder?

I haven't quite seen the Marder's shocks, but looking at the Sporstline 2004 Shocks, I'll have to say the Traveller's shocks are identical, if not slightly better as it is anodized whereas the Marder's/Sporstline shocks are plain metal.

The photo below shows the upper front end of the Traveller on top of a complete front end of a Sporstline 2004 - notice the similarities?

The Traveller/Firehammer shocks has a smaller dia than the adjustable shocks from the FG Offroaders.

The Traveller shocks has the same dia as the shocks on the Smartech 1/5 onroad cars.
Traveller/Firehammer shocks should fit the Marder without problems, but Marder shocks doesn't fit the Traveller/Firehammer.
