Buy a wheelie bar...
If you are running a FG Monster, my rear spoiler on my MB is taking a beating because it is acting as a wheelie bar.
I just ordered a wheelie bar, its a must have.

I have that Hobbythek wheelie bar as well. Worth every penny! (and many many pennies at that!) Only thing is that I'm having a hard time trying to adjust the angle of the bar. It just won't budge! anybody know the technique for changing the angle of the bar?

I did consider it, but as I race with my Beetle I thought it might be a little fragile. So I stuck this on the back
Aircraft grade Stainless. Works as a bumper (to keep those pesky Harm's and Leopards off my ass) as a wheelie skid, diff protector and protects the spoiler to some degree.

Cyberfyn,
love that skid plate!!! ... Where did you get that?
I'm not crazy about wheelie bars sticking out the back myself, BUT would love something to protect/help in those "Gotta Gun It" situations

RE: Buy a wheelie bar...
I just bent up a 3 inch long piece of alu plate and bolted it to the 3 holes on the back of the chassis. Works fine and it was free. However I did find that after I softened the suspension it hardly wheelies any more.

I did the same thing with stainless and ended up bending the rear of my chassis up about 1/4 inch. That is why I like the design of the one from monsterideas.co.uk. because it uses the holes on the shock ower in addition to the bottom 3.

Changed the rear shock oil to Trinity 80 wt and the front to Trinity 55 wt. Does not pop a wheelie anymore and also does not roll over on making a tight turn, even on a slope.
