Default MT vs.MB

Is there any advantage in buying the Monster truck over the Monster beetle? Other than the body and extra set of shock, do they perform the same? I have heard that the MB sits lower and has less ground clearance. I am looking to buy a few of them and would rather go with a all MT fleet if they are any better than the MB. Just looks like more parts to clean on the truck though! Thanks!!

i have 2 MTs, and love them, but i have seen the MB go, and i think i'm going to buy an MB also. I think the MT is more rigid. Bounces like a son of gun to

So are they any different (other than the obviouse parts)?. I just want to make sure the MB sits as high as the MT. I don't want to sacrifice any ground clearance.

they both bottom out, i wouldn't be concerned about to much ground clearance, the darn things will run over anything.

Wow must be well off. Why not buy a Monster Truck or Monster Beetle (one of either) then perhaps on-road or off-road Buggy, since they all handle quite differently.

ok fine understand that (not many places to use large scale onroad) why not a Marder Race or Leopard plus Monster Truck/Beetle? IMO if the MB and MT and basically identical except for shell can't see the point of having both...just buy the other poly shell and swap them over if you want a different look.

edit noticed need four [X(] I guess for RC club or something?

I have Firehammer with sikk 29..getting rid of all of them and just keeping the monster truck and beetle. I might swap out the threaded shock on the firehammer with the MB. Not sure if I will be able to use the plastic gear protector on the beetle from the firehammer. Going to take the zenoah g26 out of the truck and put it in the firehammer and put the sikk 29 in the truck.

Hey dude if your looking for a great deal call or e-mail Mike at [email protected] This guy is great. He is putting a FG Monster Beetle together for me- everything (radio gear, brakes) and some little extras. I had ordered from Black Hawk Hobbies in Lousiana - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF - BLACK HAWK HOBBIES SUCKS. They charged my visa and i waited 2 months to get it and never did. He gave me the run around everytime i called him. I am having my credit card merchant go after him right now. Damn mess. Should had went with Mike from RC Nutts Hobbies all along. Live and learn. Pass the word about BLACK HAWK - taking people for a ride. Stick with Mike.

Good lookin out! That guy is forever trying to unload on Ebay, I never bit on one of his ads; they seemed shady.
