If you want it realistic, build every single piece from scratch to scale with the original. One bloke made a fully working Ferrari model, but it cost £100,000+. Every single piece was a scaled down replica from the original Ferrari.

So a totally realistic RC car of the Hummer is a bit impossible. And the H1 is far better model, H2 more suited looks wise to soccer mums. Not exactly best looking cars in the world, but H1 is pure macho car.

I agree about the H1 being better than the H2 . I already have a perfect scale H2 body though . It dose not have to be realisitic , it just haves to appear realistic .

Just make like its got a lift kit on it with some big after market tires and wheels like some owners real h2s have. As far as the h1 to h2 comparo all the h2 is a suburban with different sheet metal and big tires. Now the new Alpha edition h1 with the duramax diesel / alison auto trans and the goodyear mtrs ist the shizznizzle.

I'm tired of the big tries that it has already . I want it to look like a stock H2 . This H2 is not stock at all ! I don't want my H2 to look like that , though , it is cool .

Yes, that is one of the New Bright Hummers striped down except for the working lights. Body will be getting a paint job soon. I just got into the off-road RC but I do know and have driven the real things through a lot more stuff than any RC would be able to handle. Semper Fi to any jarheads out there.

Now that is an attachment we can all live with, as long as the wife does not find out and she is of legal age. Maybe you should paint it and make all the parts to have it look like the cover of the June 7 issue of Truckin magazine[sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

Thats the plan for mine. Except 1/4 scale. Granted, to make things work, the parts aren't exactly realistic, but in the end, it should resemble the H1 pretty closely. As far as dimensions for the truck, tires and ground clearence, I have been quite strict, so....who knows. A CLOSE 1/4 scale is about half done as of now. MCD made a CLOSE 1/5 scale, but just as long as you keep the body on. Thats about as good as it will get without spending an absurd amount.

That looks like a Tamiya 1/12th scale military Humvee painted and altered a little to look civilian. But it still has the hatch on top for the 50 cal. machine gun.
