Steel pinion and steel spur gear mesh?
Hey guys, I have just upgraded to the steel gears. The problem I am having is that there seems to be too much play in the steel pinion / steel spur gear mesh. I know the mesh is not adjustable. I have read that these gears are matched. I can't seem to find a place that sells matched steel gears. Does anyone know where I may be able to find them. Thanks.

RE: Steel pinion and steel spur gear mesh?
If I remember correctly, you own a FG MT, so the "FG-pinions-don't-fit-my-Firehammer-problem" does not occur.
Besides using the wrong pinion size, it can be because of tolerances of the plastic gear plate. In this case the alloy version should solve the problem. But check the pinion size first.
If you have a 48t spur gear, pinion diameter should be ~26.7 mm, or 29.7 mm when using a 46t spur gear.
