WOW! [X(] That thing is awesome...what a great paint job! I have an FG MB, but I'm not familiar with the Hormann HT1; in fact, I've never heard of it. I love that it is all aluminum!

I was planning to buy either a Lauterbacher or a Mamba within the next six months...your buggy has made me think that I had better look around and do a bit of research before I buy anything.

I hate to ask a bunch of questions, [] but...

Is this your first Hormann?
Is the motor a 26cc?
Did you have to upgrade it from stock or did it come with all of that alloy?
Will you keep us posted about your likes and dislikes?

That's ok then (quite a bit more) how much it cost to upgrade to that spec?

Also anyone notice one on the right has wider rear tyres? and Leopard style pipe mounting (one on left Marder style)

So comparing the HT1 to a standard FG chassis the HT has got the following..

Alloy front & rear suspension A arms, steering arms, suspension arms
Alloy RC plate
Alloy spur/pinion mount
Alloy engine mounts?
Alloy diff housing
Wider rear tyres (King Cobra?)

Can only tell so much from the pictures. I've gone into checkout and added upgrades if I were upgrade stock to spec and it works ataround 950 Euros, and even then probably missing items (alloy turnbuckles, alloy gear carrier?) so that HT1 is a great price. Does it also have a higher quality diff as well?

These are the two that I have been considering, but I do not know anyone who can give me any information as to the true quality of either. I suppose that I will also have to try to find out as much as I can about the Hormann HT1, as well. [sm=drowning.gif]

If you consider the prices, you can guess which one I am leaning towards.

DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...I guess I entered the price under Euros instead of Pounds. [sm=rolleyes.gif] Sorry.

I like my prices better... [:-]

Looks like I will be saving for a bit longer than I had anticipated if I want something that is all aluminum. [&o]

Crap. [sm=tired.gif]

Could O.P. put "not dial up friendly!" almost killing my DSL connection.
Also not good to convert from GBP to US, we probably pay quite a bit more. Try and find $ within the US.

Damm! that looks Disgusting mate

I kind of was thinking about getting a HT1, but I did not have the finds to buy one and they are more for the professional off road racer person.

At the Nene Valley Raceway club I belong to there is two guts that have HT1's they are reall good cars and really do handle well and are built very well to.

The rrp on the HT1 is about £1200 with out servos radio batteries etc.. there is two versions on them...a RACE version and a Normal version.
