Default Should I upgrade the front bulks & Tower?

I need to order a few things for my Marder Race/Beetle and the Elcon alloy front bulks and shock tower has caught my eye. It started out as a $20 dollar order but now it's up to $184. My current front end is ok and stock. My question is would it be worth upgrading to the Elcon front end minus the A-arms? Can you really tell a difference in once you upgrade to alloy parts? I would think that if you wanted upgrade to alloy parts the bulkheads and towers would be the place. I guess I asking should I go ahead and upgrade this area or wait until something breaks? Also what grade of aluminum is the Elcon parts made out of 6061-T6 or 7075-T6? Thanks!

I did the elcon shock towers f&r on my mt, if I had to do it again I would not have spent the money on that but instead spent it on uprights front and rear as well as front bulkheads.

Start with the rear arms and wishbones. On landings or hard impacts the turnbuckles tend to strip out of the plastic. I have both front and rear on mine. Take a look:

SELWA...That is a nice ride. I haven't gotten into any serious bashing yet. Sorry to say but I've only ran 1 tank of fuel through my MR/Beetle. Too much work/family to have the time to run it. So I should start at the rear first then? I like the Elcon alloy parts the best but I'm considering the CNR bulkheads. With that said and the price of the Elcon alloy parts, should I start with the rear bulk heads and shock tower and work my way out to the a-arms and uprights?

Do the rear arms first. I ran mine with the plastic stock setup for 6 months. During that time I have had the tunnbuckles strip out of the plastic at least 4-5 times!!!
