Default Help on an FG part number

Hi, i am in need of this part, some sort of gear at rear of engine. I don't know the 'number' for this gear and would need help.

Basically, the allen key screw has threaded and i cannot get the screw to tighten or loosen so i need a new one.

Pics should help...

Thanks

Darrell

Hi, oh thanks. I don't suppose you know if it would be better to use a 14 or 15 tooth in the long run?

best to swap like for like and keep the same gearing - the grub screws are hard to get out as there thread locked in - come out alot easier if you heat them up slightly with heat gun / hair dryer - also the heads tend to round off if you use cheap allan/hex keys - worth investing in a decent set made from chrome vandium, god know how many heads i have rounded off in the past useing cheap keys.

edit: looking at your pic the grub screw is out a bit - why dont you cut a groove in with a dremel, heat gear slightly then turn it out with a screw driver - saves your gear - then just buy a few stainless grub screws from car shop!!!

your in uk so i would suggest ringing king cobra Tel. - (0)1706 250007. if you can travel to king cobra[rossendale models] they have an extensive selection of fg spares and hopups in house + they are the sole distributors for fg in uk, europe and usa. also if what you require is not in stock check www.kevsracingbits.co.uk. either link should have the part you require

hope this helps
