I should have asked before
I got a FG part # 8484 coming to rebuild the diff in my MT-5 and was just wondering what you guys are using for diff oil. Will I be able to use synthetic diff oil with this diff?

Grease works best. We just use a synthetic grease, but you could probably be ok with diff lube from companies like Mugen and Kyosho that offer different weights.

Valvoline Synthetic grease usually available at your local auto store, or as mentioned above diff lube from 8th scale buggies works great.
