Very nice color scheme.

It is the VS Modellsport Asgard body for the FG Leopard

RCNUTSHOBBIES advertised for it back in his June Stock Update.
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3051501/tm.htm

And again last week
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3357322/tm.htm

I must say that I like the Blue version best.

Does anyone know if it is possible to use this body with MT Wheels?

I really need to upgrade the body on my Leopard Race.

I wonder if i would convert my MT and get get some road wheels and that body, just to drive buggy style for a little while, not a permanent conversion, just to try it out.

Jrexa,

the monster tires may fit but the body will need to be trimmed around the wheel wells. They came in yesterday so I will let everyone know what fits and what doesn't.

I can test the:
ramtech 46s and the stock monster tires.

That depends on what you're willing to do. I grabbed the next two MT wheels and installed them on a Leo with that body shell. (Yes I know, one tread is in the wrong direction, but as I said "the next two..." )
- Of course, the front fenderwell must be cut to clear the tires while steering.
- The rear fenderwell has to be cut slightly in front of the tire.
- The body shell must be lifted approx. 30+ mm or there will be no suspension travel in front and very little in rear. Since there are no parts for that job available, the body lift has to be scratch built.

But it looks really mean.[>:]

I think it would look better with the ramtech 46's.

If i would convert my MT i would get some nice aluminum buggy rims and nice tires to that for a body like this... like this body, it has potentials for some great paintjobs and lightkit's hmmm, it's tempting

I like that look.... I had an atomik body with that same paint scheme on my RC10GT a few years back when I still raced 1/10 scale. It looks soooo much better with the MT tires than the buggy wheels IMO.

It wouldn't do with your standard buggy rims and tires, it would require some aluminum rims and beefy tires, but i would also like to see the ramtech 46 with it, just to have some ideas

You can also buy the leopard with this body instead of the stock FG body. Now you don't have to spend the extra money on a body and try to sell the stock one.

Thanks for the picture Chevyman_de.

It Sure looks MEAN

I might have to try it, just to get such a cool looking Leo. [8D]

I am looking forward to hear if the Ramtech 46's will be easier to use.
