Question about Battery checker
Well.. hmm when should i check the battery voltage.. when i dont use the servos (the battery checker often says it's full) but when i steer or brake/gas it goes more or less down.. and this is diffrent from if it's full loaded or less..
i get confused by this.. but i guess i should watch it when it goes close to red:P

RE: Question about Battery checker
In any case, you will see if it get's lower then when you started. It's a nice thing to have on the car, but not a must.. yet good thing to have
Does anyone know if one could get a amp/volt meter in about the same size as a battery checker ? In the US, and in Europe for example.

Do you have a "Y" connector to your steering servo? Big servo's draw a lot of power and if your running it through your receiver it might not be getting enough AMPs through the small wiring.

RE: Question about Battery checker
I had thought about getting a battery checker, but since I have a (self-made) 3800 mAh battery I decided not too. I can get around 3-4 tanks on one charge and I use a trickle charger after every use (if not my quick charger). 3 hours of constant run time is more than enough and as long as I hook it up to the charger I will never have a problem. So I guess my suggestion is that you really don't need one..... Just my opinion though.

The battery checker is NOT a must, just a nice thing to have
