Default Pull Start handle problem

Hi all,
I am selling my MB, and i have put on the pull start handle a Blue anodised pull start handle and i would like to remove it and put the orignal one back on. Heres the small problem...the knot that i did was so good it is stuck in the hole and will not move. So any suggestions??

Don't sweat it. Cut the cord just below the handle and push through from the other side. Oh and don't let the cord spring back into the fan housing befor you tie the old one back on

I thought about doing that.
No sweet about the cord, i have a niffty plan that works...
get a pair of pliers and grip them on the cord, then get a cable tie and attach it on the handle of the pliers and pull tight. works great!
