Default Engines - What sites to get 'em from

Lookin for some sites to pick an engine off of. I found one that had Zenoahs, Carsons, CY's, but I lost the link to them.

I am still considering on what r/c to get, either B5 or a FG buggy clone. If anyone knows where I could get a SMT, XTM or DTX buggy for around 700 bucks, please link me and let me know. I also am wonderin what parts it'd take to upgrade it to a FG.

Thanks

should i be looking at those with an inner clutch or no? I am just looking for a very "quick" 27 or 29, something with a bit of low end grunt compared to the stock 23s.

XTM & the Traveller are the exact same vehicles............... $649 to your door for the Traveller from gonsped69

You can convert Any clone to except 100% of FG parts.... this will involve changing your stock motor mount to FG alloy motor mounts or stock FG plastic ones and changing you gear carrier to FG alloy or plastic one.

When you have done this, all parts from a FG are interchangable with the 1/5 clones.... pinions, 2 speed, ect.

A clone is a clone is a clone........Yes same car different name. Smartech sells the traveller as their clone, Duratrax sells the firehamer as their clone...Carson sells the attack as their clone......They are all the same buggy with 100% interchangable parts

If you get a clone buggy with a 23cc engine, all you need is a larger-bore top end for a huge performance gain:

Would you believe that after extensive testing, we've found that the 1-piece Chung Yang heads actually outperform and outcool the Chung Yang 'billet' heads?

In other words, this:

runs rings around this:

No ****? I'll keep that in mind, and there is NO sarcasm here. I found a BB kit from Meyer... it was just piston, ring, and cylinder for about 75 and of course it bolts up to any 23, strokes to 29. OR it can be a rebuild for a 29cc.

Yeah right, for your highway robbery prices, its not even worth buying from europe. I can get my stuff from Molzer Mowery because I personally know Andrew and Mike. I was the test driver for the track that was built where they raced, the very first mind you.
