OFFICEL 1/6 ultimate soldier humvee tread
Any information or reviews on this truck would help me out a lot , its a 1/6 scale $200 walmart humvee and uses a 12 volt battery . Honestly this thing weighs at least
25 pounds maybe even 40 . And NO , its nothing like the crappy 1/6 NEW BRIGHT H2 . People thought the H2 was heavy but it only weighs about 15 pounds . Compare that to the 25-40 pound $200 humvee .

yea.. $200 don;t expect it to last, or do anything great. most crappy little nitro's cost twice as much as that
I thought it was the rock crawler that walmart also sells.
A decent 1/5th petrol monster truck will cost you about $1000 approx - then you will actually have some fun

If you ever find out anything on this tell me bout it . Walmart is doing this thing where they are trying to get rid of a lot of thire toys for like really cheap . Normaly the humvee would be $200 but the last time I went up there they had 5 left that were marked down to $100 and they get lower every day !!!

gotta love the way it can just sit there and idle, and not flood up and stall and the 1 hour run times are awesome too

It would be something if you take the Hummer body off and mount it on a FG monster truck. You know like the New bright bodies you can take apart.

RE: walmart $200 1/6 ultimate soldier humvee
yea ive seen the mt and monster beetle pro in action cuz i know a guy that does the rc part at my lhs
i know him very well and he gives me discounts sometimes!
anyways he said its $1100 for a rtr truck for me (any of the fg's marder, marder race,mt etc not the comp or those)
i have a motor scooter that has a 40cc motor but the motor is crap
if i had the cash, i would get a fg st and put my 59cc blower motor on it imagine that!
but then again its just a dream and all i can do is read about these sick monsters!

OK you guys , I know that the humvee would not be as good as a $1000 monster truck but I don't care . I just want to know if it would be much better than most of walmarts r/cs . And for $200 , that is a lot for a r/c that walmart carries . I expect it to drive at 10-14 MPH tops .

depends what you intend to use it for - $200 dont get you much in large scale terms, its prob ok for sticking on the shelf if its detailed, but i cant see it going very fast or having big run time on battery packs - you will get bored very quickly of slow speeds and constant chargeing.....

RE: walmart $200 1/6 ultimate soldier humvee
just my opinion
why not save the $200 towards a used petrol/gas one :-) ? ..another $200 you would probably be able to pick one up somewhere for that price
Im not saying the hummer youve posted is rubbish/crap etc.. but im guessing in a few weeks you will soon get bored with due to its limitations so the "cheap $200" price tag is no longer cheap when your not getting pleasure out of it anymore
...i know saving £££ is a biatch! ..but its worth it in the end! :-)

RE: walmart $200 1/6 ultimate soldier humvee
they were selling those same hummer at our local walamrt for only 99.00 after christmas, and I think they still are under 99.00, the "ERTL" 1/5th scale rock crawler is selling at 149.99, now that funny, and they had replacment tires for it there also for only 19.00

RE: walmart $200 1/6 ultimate soldier humvee
Even though this thing will be slow 10-14 MPH , I think it my have plenty of torque to climb some good size obstacle
s . the thing honesty weighs around 25-40 pounds . If I can get rid of maybe 5-8 pounds of junk parts like the missile launcher and take off the brush gard to give it better apoach angles , may be shave some parts for better ground clearence . There has to be a lot of weight that can be taken off . There is no reason that it should weigh that much in the first place . The more weight take off the more easily it will do off road . What if it could somehow lose 12 pounds , I know that its a lot but I bet there is plenty of useless weight on the thing , And if it could lose 12 pounds it could take on another 12 ponds of off road terrain . Also the thing should have plenty of traction because of its weight . Dose anyone agree that this might could make a good slow moving off roader ?

From the pix, it looks like you already own it.
About the only thing I would do with that TOY, is take the body off and put it on a real 1/5 scale RC for bashing.
