ok same as title. Does the st have more ground clearacne. Could the leopard go where the st can go?

to put it bluntly, nope

The ST has slightly more clearance & if u wanted more you could just change the gearing & slap some Bigfoot tires on it.

Ive taken my MB Pro to places where a buggy would struggle, watching alot of vids ive seen the buggy get stuck in some places i know my MB would hop over.

To put it bluntly....
Bigfoot tires will not work on either the St or the Leopard due to body clearence issues.

aye forgot about that

ST will still have more clearance than leopard, but will have less clearance than the MT (but not much)

*if* you want the ST for the looks stick with it, if you want it because of the wheels/low profile tires, if i were you id opt for the MT/MB Pro then you can have best of both worlds by being able to put Bigfoot or ST wheels/tires on, if you get the ST as clowder mentioned, you cant put bigfoot tires on it as they actually hit the shell

Yes if monster tires are the deciding factor look into the regular monster beetle. The MB has a much softer ride than either of the 8 shock models and more predictable handling. The mt,st and mb pro use the 8 shocks for looks which becomes obvious after you drive a mb after a mt. I have never driven st or mb pro so I don't know wheather or not if the shocks have been revalved or re-sprung but I would hpe atleast the MB pro has been softened, the st may actualy use the stifness to it's advantage when the droop screws are maxed out.

the other alternative (if you prefer buggy look) is the leopard or marder with bigfoot tires, looks kinda nice in its own way tbh & will give you that extra clearance if thats what your after

When i 1st seen the look it reminded me of the Mardave Marders! I wouldnt mind trying to fit a buggy shell on my MB Pro chassis just to see what it looks like! but it would mean id have to lose the roll bars

No bigfoot tires will not fit due to frame and body interference. My ramtech/moabs work fine however 6.9 inches vs 8 inches

bigfoot tires WILL fit on the marder/leopard, they will NOT fit on the ST

this from rc-car: We now offer the FG Marder equipped with genuine FG BigFoot tires and wheels. The gearing is changed according to the bigger tire diameter.
This car comes with a Zenoah G260/4 engine.

This is easy. Bigfoot tires fit the Marder and do not fit the Leopard or the Stadium truck.

yes the Big Foot tires will fit the Fg Leopard. you will have to limit the point to point steering by a quarter of an inch on either side so the front wheels don't rub the buggy body. as for as rear wheel clearance your fine. the Leopard's chassis is longer than the MT & Marder. by installing a complete set of BF tires you "will" have the same ground height as the MT. but you "will" also have better on/off road control of your Leopard because the Leopard has a lower center of graity and no bump & roll that the MT suffers so much from.

if anybody know the ground clearance on a FG stadium truck can you post it. I'm just kind wanting to get a idea of where it could go or not go compared to my nitro MT. I'm not going to be rock crawing or any thing but i will be taking it in feilds, bmx track and so on. I really like the look of the ST though.
